Calling all Women of God

MaryAnn Bridgewaters, along with Promise Reapers Prayer Ministry prayed for Promise Keepers, the movement of God that saw 7 million men engaged in the 1990’s and 2000’s.

MaryAnn now leads “Pray the Word” Ministries – and we still work together to mobilize prayer nationwide.

My life was transformed by Promise Keepers and I am grateful to God to MaryAnn, her team, and many of you who prayed!

As we launch this “Leading Men to Pray” initiative, we know that women have prayed for men to take their rightful place as spiritual leaders in our culture, churches and homes. We believe that praying women are a key to this movement. The title of my blog post, “Our Culture Desperately Needs Godly Men!” states that clearly.

Would you consider praying for God to capture the hearts of men to be men of prayer?

Here’s how you can help:

1. Please pray fervently for this initiative. Ask the Lord if He wants you to gather a group of women to pray for us or help me share on-going prayer requests with others.

2. We are looking for men who will help us shape our training materials. We can provide materials that can help His people hear from God.

I need:

1. 2-3 businessmen or non-profit leaders who will help me produce prayer practices for them that help them hear from the Lord for their business, decision-making, leadership, strategy, etc. We have prayer methods that can help them.

2. 2-3 parents and grandparents who will help me produce prayer practices for them that help them hear from the Lord for their family, etc.

3. 2-3 ministry leaders who want to develop a prayer strategy for their ministry.

4. We are looking for a women’s prayer leader, intercessory prayer group, or intercessor who wants to hear from the Lord on our behalf. That group or person would partner with the leadership team as we move the initiative forward.

5. There are excellent sermons, podcasts, etc on mobilizing men to prayer and action that women are sending me. I recently became aware of a resource on the impact of fatherlessness that one of my sisters sent me. If you hear of any resources that you think I should have, please send them to me.

6. If God gives you a word for me, please share it with me.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Rejoice with me! I am leading this men’s prayer initiative because of your faithful prayers!

Richest Blessings in Christ,
Thomas Bush
